Dati tecnici dell’acciaio

E’ un acciaio inossidabile austenitico legato al Cromo-Nichel resistente al calore e alla corrosione, non induribile mediante tempra ma solo attraverso deformazione a freddo. Possiede ottima resistenza meccanica ed alla ossidazione ad alta temperatura fino a 1050°C circa in servizio continuo e a 950°C circa in servizio intermittente. Possiede la stessa lavorabilità alle macchine utensili dell’ AISI 304. Saldabile senza difficoltà anche se dopo il processo è necessario  un trattamento

di solubilizzazione dei carburi precipitati nella ZTA. Normalmente utilizzato per realizzare attrezzature per trattamenti termici, per forni,

caldaie, industria del vetro, ceramica e cemento e per l’industria petrolifera.

Grade technical data

It is an austenitic Cr-Ni alloyed stainless steel resistant to the heat and corrosion, not hardening by tempering but only with cold deformation.

It has an excellent mechanical and oxidation resistance at high temperatures up to about 1050 °C in continuous and about 950°C in discontinuous service. It has the same machinability at the tool machines than AISI 304. Easy to weld, even if after the process, a solubilization treatment of the precipitated carbides in ZTA is required. Usually employed to make equipment for heat treatments, ovens, boilers, glass, ceramic and cement industry and oil plants.
