SERVICES
CUTS
- bars and tubes: cut to length and also cut in pieces, packing on pallets or inside metal caissons;
- sheets from coil: strips slitted to desired width, and also flattened sheets, packed according to client’s needs;
- heavy plates: cut of all kind of formats and up to big thicknesses: our partners are equipped with facilities for cutting with laser, plasma, water jet and flame, in order to obtain pieces of all dimensions as well as pieces according to drawing, even the most complex (for example, round or elaborated flanges).
HIGH PERFORMANCE GALVANIZING ON BARS, PLATES AND FINISHED PIECES
Through one of our selected partners we can supply the material galvanized through a process of high strength passivation (Lanthane TR175).
This treatment is the latest generation of chromium passivations (trivalent chromium) and can compete with hot galvanization in terms of resistance to corrosion. The materials treated with electrolytic high strength passivation can be used without any further intervention of grinding (due to deformations) or cleaning (holes, threads and welded parts) in comparison with hot galvanization.
The dimensions of the pieces we can galvanize are the following:
- 6 meters in length
- 2 meters in depth
- 0,65 meters in width
PAINTING AND PROTECTIVE FILM
- heavy plates: we can supply plates painted with primers, reducing oxidation and allowing easy stocking of the goods, and also improving the following stage of painting at client’s premises;
- plates from coil: we can supply materials with pvc protection on one or both sides, for coils as well as flattened sheets;
ORGANIZATION AND EFFICIENCY
Widespread distribution: through long-term relationships with our forwarders we can deliver the material all around Italy and also abroad, both by truck and by vessel.
Materials certifications: upon request we can provide materials tested by the most important certification bodies (LLoyd, Rina, Bureau Veritas, DNK etc); the tests are carried out at accredited metallurgical laboratories.
Technical help for the choice of special steels: thanks to an experience of over 30 years, Sidex is able to suggest valid alternatives in the choice of special steels and in perfectioning production cycles which are suitable to clients needs, in order to optimize both costs and delivery times, and that are essential in the choice of the right supplier.
