In addition to the supply of special steel bars, which is our core business, we can supply welded tubes and seamless tubes, in common and special steels, specific for mechanical and building industry.

Supplies can be made either  through specialized commercial partners or placing scheduled orders with steel mills, according to minimum lots of production.

WELDED TUBESfrom coil, in common grades (S235, S275, S355) and special grades, also stainless

Description: They are produced by cold forming from coil, that is curved through rolls, until it assumes a tubular shape. The longitudinal edges are then welded non-stop.
The outer seam (welding seam) is removed automatically (seam removal), while the inner seam can be removed on request on most of the diameters.
Norm: Normally produced through EN 10219 (structural tubes).
On request, the certifications of hydraulic tests (so called proved tubes) can be produced, according to norm DIN 2394.
In the range of thicknesses up to 3mm, the tubes can be produced according to EN 10305-3 (gauged tubes), from a cold rolled coil, with more restricted tolerances and for specific uses.
Range: Up to Ø219,8 and thickness 16,0 mm.
After welding, the tube can be profiled through a series of rolls, obtaining square, rectangular, hexagonal sections as well as special sections (oval, semi-oval, etc.), on request.

Besides longitudinal welding, the tubes can also be produced through spiral welding (only common grades): the coil is spirally wound on the rolls and the sides are then welded, so that much greater diameters can be obtained.
In this case, the range widens up to Ø2500 and thickness 16,0 mm.

SEAMLESS TUBEShot rolled, for general use, in common and special grades

Description: They are produced through a hot process that starts from a round rolled full bar or from a tube of bigger dimensions. The bar is heated and then formed by a machine to obtain the finished tube; the entire process is more or less a kind of extrusion. It is possible to obtain tubes with greater thickness, that would be impossible to produce through welding of sheets.
Norm: It varies according to use.
For mechanical applications: EN 10297 – EN10210 – DIN 2448.
For petrolchemistry: API 5L – ASTM A106.
Range: Ø26,7 th. 2,6 mm ÷ Ø635 th. 120 mm.

DRAWN TUBESseamless or welded, for precision applications – common and special grades

Description: Tubes are produced by drawing a welded or seamless tube of bigger dimensions.
The result is a tube with perfectly smooth surfaces and very strict tolerances, suitable for all particulars where the inner as well as outer dimensions must be strictly guaranteed (pistons, telescopic tubes, rolls, etc.).
Norm: EN 10305-1 (ex DIN 2391): seamless drawn tubes.
EN 10305-2 (ex DIN 2393): welded drawn tubes.
Range: Ø18 th. 1,5mm – Ø230 th. 15 mm (welded drawn).
Ø3,5 th. 0,5mm – Ø120 th. 12 mm (seamless drawn).
